1. Unveiling the Secrets of Dermatoscopy. The individuals in charge are dr Kaja Męcińska Jundziłł
and dr Agnieszka Białecka.

Dr. Kaja Męcińska-Jundziłł, is a dermatologist and venereologist who graduated from the Medical College of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Bydgoszcz. She completed her specialization training at the Department of Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and Immunodermatology of the A. Jurasz University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz. Currently, she works as an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the same university. Her doctoral thesis focused on acquired vitiligo. 

Dr. Męcińska-Jundziłł’s daily practice involves diagnosing and treating skin diseases in both children and adults. She has been actively involved in scientific and therapeutic projects since 2014, particularly focusing on innovative treatments for psoriasis vulgaris, pustular psoriasis of the palms and soles, and alopecia areata. She has authored numerous scientific papers, including national and international articles, conference reports, and textbook chapters. Dr. Męcińska-Jundziłł continuously enhances her knowledge and skills through participation in conferences and training courses.

She appeared as an expert on the causes, symptoms, treatment, and skincare of atopic dermatitis as a guest on the program “Strong Support.” (https://bydgoszcz.tvp.pl/59467542/mocne-wsparcie-5042022)

Dr. Agnieszka Białecka is a highly accomplished dermatologist and venereologist, holding a degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical College of the Medical University of Bydgoszcz. With a specialization in dermatology and venereology since 2018, she has established herself as an expert in various areas, including pediatric dermatology and chronic skin conditions such as acne vulgaris, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis.

Dr. Białecka’s dedication to advancing medical knowledge is evident through her extensive publication record, consisting of more than 80 scientific papers encompassing national and international articles, conference reports, and textbook chapters. Her research focuses on the development and application of novel therapies tailored to these specific dermatological conditions. Additionally, she has a keen interest in dermatoscopic diagnosis of nevi, further contributing to the field of dermatology.

Alongside her research pursuits, Dr. Białecka serves as an assistant professor at the Department of Dermatology, CM UMK, where she continues to impart her expertise to aspiring medical professionals. Her commitment to clinical excellence and academic advancement make her a valuable asset in the field of dermatology.

2. Let’s believe – better lives for seniors. The individuals in charge are Dominika Strzała and Maciej Pesta.

Dear Participants, We cordially invite you to the Let’s believe – Better lives for senior workshop. Since 2021, members of the Student Scientific Group of Geriatrics at the Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz have been conducting the above-mentioned project, the purpose of which is to spread knowledge about geriatrics and aging processes among a wide audience, including among the participants of the iMedic 2023 Conference. The workshops consist of an introductory lecture and practical classes with the use of an old age simulator. It is a piece of equipment (suit) that allows you to experience first-hand the inconveniences faced by the elderly on a daily basis. Once again, we invite you to sign up – the number of places is limited!
