Let us introduce you today to DFUP – Doktoranckie Forum Uniwersytetów Polskich (Doctoral Forum of Polish Universities) which has just recently taken iMEDIC – International Medical Interdisciplinary Congress under patronage!
You might wonder what DFUP actually is, DFUP was established in July 2013 at the University of Gdańsk. It brings together the Self-Governments of Doctoral Students of Universities associated in the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities.
They are responsible for:
- representation on the national and international arena of doctoral students of universities
- cooperation with doctoral organizations in Poland and abroad (including the National Representation of Doctoral Candidates, industry and local agreements)
- organization and support of scientific, cultural and integration initiatives addressed to the doctoral environment
- exchange of information and experiences relevant to the environment of doctoral students of universities
- cooperation with bodies and organizations representing individual areas of higher education in Poland
